Depending on the type of new idea, it can be driven through the Alpha process or through product management prioritization.

The Alpha process should be used when the concept will …

…deliver in year revenue opportunity

and

…need minimum engineering investment

Test new functionality (part of multiple release)

or

Test value proposition for existing products

If the concept does not meet the criteria above it will need to go through product management prioritization.

Any employee can submit an Alpha template which includes problem statement

Asset Creation and Ownership

Nicole or Scott to appoint owner and Product Marketing to create 4 assets based on template

Market Maker to Test Concept

30 days to test the idea and provide written feedback through template

Build + Package

Prioritize  to be launched as a general release.
